The Powered Room Thermostat is a modern and stylish thermostat which provides a large backlit display enabling you to quickly see the measured temperature in the room. This gives you both accurate temperature feedback for the room it is placed in, and manual control of the temperature for that room. The schedule for the room can be quickly and easily overridden using the simple touch sensitive buttons on the front of it to change the target temperature. This gives manual control as well as being able to control the room from the smartphone app.
This unit is both a thermostat and a receiverwhich can switch any load up to 16A 230V. This is a mains powered device, so no batteries are required to power it. It boosts the signal for the other devices in the property, this increases the life of the battery powered devices by providing easy lines of communication back to the Smart Master Controller. It is normally used to control an Electric Heater (such as panel, convection or infrared), wet underfloorheating orelectric underfloorheating. This is an add-on to the Smart Master Controller.
The Floor Temperature Probe can be added to protect a floor against over-heating. This is critical for sensitive floors (such as engineered wood or ceramics) and Electric Underfloor Heating. The Powered Room Thermostat does not come with the Floor Temperature Probe as standard, this needs to be purchased separately
